About us

The Sittingbourne & Sheppey Residents Association is committed to representing the voices of local residents and advocating for fair, transparent, and accountable property management. Our primary mission is to campaign for the establishment of a governing body or regulatory authority to oversee managing agents, ensuring they operate with integrity, professionalism, and in the best interests of those they serve. We strive to protect residents’ rights, promote high standards in housing management, and build stronger, more empowered communities across Sittingbourne, Sheppey and beyond.

We are partnered with the National Leasehold Campaign (NLC) and the Social Housing Action Campaign (SHAC). We also meet regularly with local MP Kevin McKenna.

Our commitment to residents

Formed by Queenborough (Phase 1) and Abbey Place (Minster Village Centre) in June 2025, the Sittingbourne & Sheppey Residents Association champions fair property management. We support leasehold, freehold, and commonhold properties, assisting numerous Resident Management Companies (RMCs) with managing agent issues. Contact us to learn how we can help you.
